She is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Medical Association, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a minor in Chemistry, and was a member of the Honors College.
She received her dental degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry and graduated at the top of her class with multiple awards including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award, the American Association of Dental Research Outstanding Student Award, and the University of Texas Kroeger Research Scholarship Award.
She then completed a prestigious six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. In addition, she also received her medical degree from McGovern Medical School in Houston.

Dr. Azhar is committed to providing excellent care with a nurturing and caring environment for her patients. Her special interests include surgical tooth extractions, advanced bone grafting-techniques, implant surgery, and pathology.

Dr. Jonathan Rosenstein DDS
Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Rosenstein was accepted into an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, in Brooklyn, NY. In the course of his training, Dr. Rosenstein provided OMFS services at multiple hospitals throughout the east coast, including Brooklyn Hospital, the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, St. Barnabas Hospital, and Geisinger Medical Center, a level-one regional trauma center in Pennsylvania. After serving as chief resident in his final year of residency, Dr. Rosenstein obtained his certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Rosenstein has authored scholarly works that have been published in both journals and textbooks, including the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, New York State Dental Journal, Dental Clinics of North America, and the European Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
